"Open up, ancient gates! Open up, ancient doors, and let the King of glory enter." (Psalm 24:9)

Meditation: My heart is open so that the King of Glory may enter.

Here is the 20th and final excerpt from my book, Rosary Poetry: Poems on the life of Jesus Christ. Enjoy!

The Coronation of Mary12

Holy Mary, mother of God,
We implore thee by thy noble titles,
Inscribed on the twelve stars of thy crown,
To answer the petitions of thy disciples.

Queen of Peace, to conflicts bring solution
Queen of Heaven, before God plead our case.
Queen of Martyrs, help us bear life's trials.
Queen of Angels, from sin forbid disgrace.

Lady of Good Counsel, guide us to bliss.
Mother of Grace, help us follow God's rules.
Comforter of the Afflicted, console the sick and dying.
Mother of Mercy, ask pardon for the wise and the fools.

Mother of Perpetual Help, assist those in need.
Lady Help of Christians, assist hearts open to the Lord.
Lady of Good Hope, aid those who hope in thee.
Lady of the Blessed Sacrament, may the Eucharist be adored.

Amen.
