"Who can be compared with the LORD our God, who is enthroned on high? He stoops to look down on heaven and on earth. He lifts the poor from the dust and the needy from the garbage dump." Psalm 113:5-7 (NLT)
Meditation: Our God is an awesome God, yet he is ever mindful of those who are poor and needy. He stoops down to lift up the worst sinners and places them among his saints.
"He gives the childless woman a family, making her a happy mother." Psalm 113:9 (NLT)
Meditation: "If my prayer is not answered, then my younger sister will have to give up her desire to be a mother here on earth, but she will be able to rejoice in thinking that in heaven 'the Lord will give her the joy of seeing herself Mother of numerous children,' as the Holy Spirit promised when he sang through the mouth of the Prophet King the words that I just wrote. These children would be the souls that her worthy sacrifice would cause to be born to a life of grace."†
